Hi Ryan!!!I know you've made a lot of guest appearances on numerous shows(I've seen most of them) and I was wondering which show was the hardest to do and who you enjoyed working with the most.

Umm, I don't know. They've all been fun to do and none has been really hard.

As to most enjoyed working with, I would say Eric Paulsen, the executive director of "3719 Broadleaf."

Ian, thanks for the good wishes, and diving is fine these days, though it's pretty cold soem of these nights.

Hi Zoe, I really don't know because that's one thing I haven't decided. There are SO many options. I'm in the process of starting a business now (no, details aren't available yet), so I'll see if I can continue acting and get other enterprises going, too.

Ellie, I'm sorry, but with the fever I've got now, that's a little too much to describe. As for the future plans, please just see the previous answer.

Do you have anything in common with any of the characters that you've played?

Ash, I would say yes. Some of them I had some in common with...like Brian in "State of Grace"...I'm in cotillion now! :)

Is it hard to do school work when you're on a set?

No, it's not hard at all to get it done. There is a minimum of 3 hours set aside while on set that is just for school time.

I haven't seen all the ones out yet that I want to, so I really can't say what's the best in 2003.

Well, I've thought about it and we've talked about it, but I don't know for sure yet.

how long would you normally have to work on set?

Ryan James
Each day is limited by law to 9 1/2 hours, until I turn 16 and can work longer. Each job requires a different number of days on set.

The location determines how much I can socialize, but there's some free time on each movie schedule.

My pleasure. No, Ian, it's not been released yet, and I don't know if it will get to Australia. That will depend on what they set up for distribution. That is actually an "art" film, not a full-length feature, but it should be really good!

"A Month of Sundays" was the toughest because I was in a coffin...a real coffin in a real cemetary...and working with the legendary Rod Steiger!

what made you made you want to become an actor?

Ryan James
I just kept hearing people tell my folks I should be an actor, so finally when I was 5 I asked my mom if I should do "this acting everyone says I should." She said I should if I wanted to, I asked her what "acting" was, and after she explained I decided to give it a try. It has been SO MUCH more, and better, than I expected!!

What would you say to those who also want to be a celebrity/actor? Any tips? by the way I wish that your fever will get better, enjoy your christmas, hope that all your christmas wishes will come true :)

Thank you, Mi, for your kind words and good wishes. Hm, I would say that the most important thing is to be yourself, be true to yourself, only continue if you feel good about it, and don't do it to be a celebrity...do it because you LOVE it. I am fine without being a celebrity, though I hope to get better and better. Those are the only tips I can think of now.

hey ryan, sorry i left i did it accidently. when u guest starred on "judging amy" was it hard to play the rold as an 8year old boy who thinks heis a girl?

No, not really. I was only 11 then, so it would be harder now...impossible, probably...to realistically play 8, but the part about believing I was a girl wasn't that hard...it was acting. I just used my imagination, and having two nieces and a girl as a best friend for years helped. It was easier than playing an evil character.

Yo Ryan 8-) When you arrive on set, can you settle into a role quickly or do you need time to settle into the role? And feel better, man :-)

Thanks, I'll try to do that...soon! I usually settle into the role during rehearsal. Remember, I've already had to "be" the character during the audition and callback(s), so it's not totally new to me when I get to the set.

I'm growing up in Ventura County, in southern California, and I'm SURE that living here, my family, and my friends contribute to who I am.

I'm sure 3719 Broadleaf will be good... you're in it ;-) But seriously, could you give a brief synopsis please? I haven't seen much information about it anywhere. I guess if it doesn't make it to Australia, I'll just have to hope for a US DVD release :)

It's based on a true episode in the director's life, and I play him at the age of 10. It's funny, but also very dark. That's about all I can think of to share now. I can go into detail once it's out and I'm up to par.
